If you use Questrade as your brokerage, you can import your complete transaction history into HCC StockWatcher in just a few steps. Our built-in Questrade parser understands the CSV format Questrade exports, so you do not need to reformat anything manually.
How to Export Your Questrade Activity
Log into your Questrade account and navigate to Reports > Activity. Select the date range you want to export and choose CSV as the format. Download the file to your computer.
In HCC StockWatcher, go to the Transactions page and click the Import button. Select your downloaded CSV file. The system will detect it as a Questrade export and apply the correct parser automatically.
Reviewing and Confirming Your Import
Review the preview. The import preview shows you every transaction that will be created, with the symbol, date, quantity, price, and type (buy/sell/dividend) already mapped. You can deselect any rows you do not want to import.
Confirm the import. Your transactions are now in StockWatcher, and your holdings, cost basis, and estimated P&L will update immediately based on the imported data.
